Hartford Police are investigating a double shooting that killed a 17-year-old girl and injured another.
The shooting happened around 6:55 p.m. in the area of 17 East Raymond Street.
Ty-Leeyah Jamison, 17, of Hartford, was found unresponsive and was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A second victim, also a 17-year-old girl, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. She's listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation.
