(Milford, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Milford have made arrests in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the city from last fall.
It was back in October that officers say there was a spike in vehicle break-ins in restaurant parking lots.
Investigiators say the burglaries took place primarily in commercial lots at night by prying vehicle windows open until they broke.
Detectives say some recovered property may have been stolen but not reported.
Under arrest is 51-year-old Jimmie Bennett and 53-year-old Alphonso Thompson, both of Bridgeport.
The pair faces charges including larceny, illegal use of a credit card, and conspiracy to commit illegal use of a credit card.
