(Hartford, CT/WTIC) - Hartford police say a sixth person has died from a drug overdose in the same general area where five people died between Monday evening and Tuesday.
The latest victim, according to police, is a 55 year-old-male.
Police say the person appeared to have been dead between 36-and-48 hours.
The previous deaths were in the Asylum Hill and North End neighborhoods.
On Tuesday, police said they suspected fentanyl might have been involved.
There've now been 39 overdose deaths in the Capital City this year alone, up from the 22 logged at this point a year ago.
