HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC) - Authorities want to hear from customers who've had problems with an electrician who hasn't been licensed for 18 years.
State Consumer Protection officials report they have received multiple complaints about an unlicensed electrician, 71-year-old Hervin Bolton, who stays in business using a variety of other company names.
Officials say Bolton lost his license in 2000, but has conducted business under Bolt's Enterprises, Bolton's Electric Co., and other company names.
The Department of Consumer Protection has received 11 complaints about Bolton to date. Officials are asking consumers and businesses to report Bolton's activity to the DCP via email at dcp.occupationalenforcement@ct.gov.
