BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTIC) - On Monday, detectives in Bridgeport were looking into the city's first homicide of 2019.
The Connecticut Post reports a man was stabbed Monday night around 7pm on Bishop Avenue. The victim was later pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital. His name has not yet been released.
Officers say there was a trail of blood leading from the scene of the stabbing to where the victim ultimately collapsed. No word yet on any suspects or a motive.
