(Watertown, Conn./WTIC) - Watertown Police are charging two Waterbury men after they say a vehicle that was stolen earlier this year in town contained four guitars which ultimately turned up on social media sites for sale.

Officers say early on the morning of January 31, they responded to a report of a vehicle theft on Candee Hill Road.

Investigators say a little while later, the four instruments were posted for sale online.

Detectives got in touch with the seller and arranged a meet-up for possible "sale".

At that time, they found 19-year-old Dre'von Robinson in possession of crack cocaine.  He was later charged with larceny and narcotics possession.

In addition, police located a co-conspirator accused of posting the stolen merchandise on the web.

Officers are charging 19-year-old Ferdinand Flores with conspiracy in the case.
