(New Haven, Conn./WTIC) - New Haven police Captain Anthony Duff continues his recovery in a local hospital, a week after being shot while off duty.
Police Chief Tony Reyes didn't get into specifics about the investigation, only saying a myriad local, state and federal agencies are assisting.
Duff was shot when he happened upon the fatal shooting of West Haven resident Troy Clark last Monday night.
Reyes stopped short of saying when Duff might be released.
The chief says many surrounding law enforcement agencies had lent a hand in trying to locate the suspected gunman.
