(Durham, Conn./WTIC) - State Police have released information on a fatal crash early Wednesday in the town of Durham.
They say just before 3:30 a.m., a Mercedes Benz with 17-year-old Luis Martinez of Hartford was traveling north along Route 79 when the vehicle crashed and rolled over.
This came shortly after Madison police engaged, then called off a pursuit of the vehicle that was reported stolen from their town.
State troopers say Martinez was ejected from the car after it spun out on the approach to northbound Route 79 and South End Avenue.
Martinez was ejected from the vehicle and later rushed to Middlesex Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The crash is still under investigation.
