(Bridgeport, Conn./WTIC) - The date has been set for a special election in the 130th state House district in Bridgeport.
Governor Ned Lamont has set May 7 as the date to hold that election.
The election is being held to fill a vacancy created by the death earlier this month of State Representative Ezdequiel Santiago.
Santiago had held the seat for over a decade when he died suddenly from a heart attack
He was 45.
