WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTIC) - TSA workers at Bradley International Airport who aren't getting paid because of the government shutdown got some help from Foodshare on Thursday.
The food bank set up a pop-up pantry at a nearby parking lot to distribute donated food.
William Santos with the Transportation Security Administration says employees are having trouble paying their bills, but they're still showing up for work.
"All the officers are very dedicated and what they do. They take an oath to serve our country, and they do that here every single day. And they do that even now, without receiving pay."
This is the 28th day of the partial government shutdown.
