HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC) - Governor Ned Lamont has tapped Josh Geballe to head the State Department of Administrative Services.
Lamont said the former IBM executive's background with technology companies will help in efforts to update state computer systems.
The Commissioner-elect, a Guilford resident, said he sees an opportunity to have a huge impact on leading the Department of Administrative Services.
In addition to info technology, the department also has a role in state government hiring, selecting contractors that work for the state, and buying supplies and equipment for state government.
