GROTON, Conn. (WTIC) – Groton Police have made a narcotics arrest after an investigation in town on Friday afternoon.
At 12:30 p.m., members of the Groton Town Police Department Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation into the sale of narcotics.
As a result, 29 year old Anthony Graham was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with intent to sell, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with intent to sell, Possession of Marijuana and Interfering with an Officer.
Additionally, police sezied seven grams of cocaine, four and a half grams of heroin, four grams of marijuana and 530 dollars in cash.
The arrest occurred in the area of a local business along Gold Star Highway on Route 184 and during the time of the arrest, Graham attempted to flee, but was quickly apprehended by officers.
He was held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on May 20th to face these charges.
