EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police have identified the man whose body was found on a highway ramp earlier this week. Police say the body of 23-year-old Vernon resident Jermaine Williams was found on the exit 4 off ramp of Route 2 west in East Hartford at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Troopers determined that the man was down in the right shoulder of the ramp, partially in the travel lane. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police determined the death to be a homicide and the medical examiner is performing an autopsy to determine a cause of death. Detectives from Central District Major Crimes Squad responded and have assumed the lead on the investigation.
