(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Hartford Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a Windsor teenager last week.
Today, Police Lieutenant Paul Cicero announced the arrest of 22-year-old Isaiah Benetiz for the murder of 16-year-old Felipe Lopez.
Lopez was found in the early morning hours of April 24 with multiple gunshot wounds in a car that had crashed in the city's North End.
Police say the car was not registered and the teen didn't have a driver's license.
Lieutenant Cicero says the two were known to each other and some type of altercation occurred before the fatal shots were fired.
Benetiz is currently behind bars for a double shooting that occurred on St. Patrick's Day.
He'll be in court Friday on the murder charge. Bond in that case was set at $1.5 million.
