(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Hartford have arrested a man after they say his car contained guns and heroin packaged for sale.
Cops on patrol along Main Street in the North End around 2:00 this morning spotted over two dozen bags of heroin, along with three firearms and ammunition in the car parked in back of the United Banquet Hall.
They waited for the owner to show up, 26-year-old Nian Sturges of Hartford.
Police say one of the guns had an extended magazine with 28 live rounds.
Sturges now faces a host of charges, including possession of a pistol without a permit, possession of narcotics, and possession of a high capacity magazine.
