(WTIC-AM) -- A Killingworth man is charged with attempted murder.
State Police said Paul Karam stabbed a female family member this morning at his home on Parker Hill Road after an argument.
She survived the attack with stab wounds to her lower back and neck.
Troopers said found Karam hiding in the wood line behind the home.
Police said they found the knife used in the attack.
Karam was charged after an emergency mental health evaluation.
Karam is also charged with assault and reckless endangerment.
He is due in court in Middletown tomorrow.
