(Canterbury, Conn./WTIC) - State Police are investigating a crash this morning the left one person dead in Canterbury.
Troopers say just before 7:30, a motorcycle driven by Anthony Burgess of Plainfield collided with a vehicle operated by Roger Engle of Brooklyn, Connecticut on Route 12 at Butts Bridge Road.
Investigators say Burgess was traveling south on Route 12 when the motorcycle struck the rear of Engle's vehicle.
Burgess was rushed to Backus Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say Engle was not injured.
