(New Haven, Conn./WTIC) - A man is in the hospital in critical condition and police in New Haven are investigating a late night shooting.
Officers responded to a Shot-Spotter alert, they say, just before 11:30, to gunfire reported in the city's Hill section.
That's where they found a man wounded in front of a home on Daggett Street near Congress Avenue.
The victim was transported to Yale New Haven.
Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch with New Haven police.
