MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTIC) – Manchester Police have charged a 27-year old female after responding to the report of a disturbance at an apartment on 2 Thompson Road.
A male victim called 911 reporting that he had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located the victim on Center Street suffering from a stab wound to his left wrist.
Officers provided care on the scene and later transported the victim to Hartford Hospital.
A suspect was quickly identified, located and taken into custody without incident. Cynthia Jimenez-Pacheco was cited in the incident where during an altercation with the victim, she grabbed a knife and ultimately caused the injury to the left wrist of the victim.
She was charged with Assault in the First Degree, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.
She is currently being held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
