(Cheshire, Conn./WTIC) - A crash Tuesday night in Cheshire has left one person dead and others injured.
Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 11:00 p.m.
Police say the two-vehicle crash occurred in the area of 1591 Highland Avenue.
They say a sedan and a pickup collided, leaving one person dead at the scene.
No word on the extent of the injuries of the others involved, or what may have caused the accident.
The names of those involved have not been released.
Right now, the Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation team is assisting Cheshire police in the investigation.
