(New London, Conn./WTIC) - Three people are in the hospital in New London following an accident this afternoon involving two pedestrians.
Officers say the crash happened just after noon in the area of 50 Pequot Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a vehicle off the road with two injured pedestrians and the driver, who was also hurt.
The three were transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, according to investigators. One of the pedestrians is said to have significant injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
