(HAMDEN,Conn./WTIC) - Hamden Police have made an arrest in a July 2018 fatal vehicle versus pedestrian crash.53 year old William Moultrie of Georgetown, South Carolina, formerly of New Haven is charged in the death of 51 year old Melissa Reddick of Hamden who was struck at 2 am July 1,2018 as she crossed Dixwell Avenue near Morse Street.
Moultrie was extradited to Connecticut Friday.He has been charged with Evading Responsibility Resulting in Death,Tampering with Physical Evidence,Criminal Mischief,Falseley Reporting an Incident and Interfering with a Police Officer.
Moultrie was ordered held on $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court November 1.
