(Berlin, Conn./WTIC) - Berlin police have made an arrest in a fatal pedestrian crash from last fall.
It was October 16 that police say 58-year-old Janine Wiktor was struck in the area of the Prentice Place Condominiums on New Britain Road.
Now, under arrest is 31-year-old Emanuel Story of Berlin.
Police say he was behind the wheel of the vehicle that struck Wiktor before fleeing the scene.
He's now charged with evading responsibility and is now free on a $100,000 bond following his Saturday arrest.
Story is due January 17 in New Britain Superior Court.
