BRISTOL, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Bristol Health is modifying the hours of its COVID-19 drive-up specimen collection station due to decreasing supply and limited testing kits availability, according to Bristol Health's Director of Public Relations, Chris Boyle.
Starting Wednesday, April 8, the station will close for the day once 40 specimens have been collected, Boyle said in a statement.
Updates on the number of specimens that have been collected on a particular day can be found on BristolHealth.org, Boyle said.
Also, the station will be closed on Sundays starting on Sunday, April 12. The station will open at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
Boyle said Bristol Health has collected more than 1,100 specimens that have been sent out for testing since its launch on March 13.
