(Bristol, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Bristol have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing.
They say 37-year old Eddie Torres is charged with murder in his wife's death last night.
Police say Torres walked into the lobby of police headquarters and told the front desk officer he'd stabbed his wife, around the same time a 911 call was received reporting that a woman had been stabbed in a Pardee Street apartment.
The victim fled to another apartment after the incident, police say.
She was rushed to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
Torres is charged with murder. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
