NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Emergency responders in New Haven rushed to I-91 Southbound near Exit 8 where a car reportedly went off the highway and ended up submerged in water early Thursday morning.
The crash, reported after 4 a.m., prompted responders to lower a crew member to the vehicle in the water.
New Haven Fire tweeted at 4:34 a.m. that no occupants were in the car.
