
(New Britain, Conn./WTIC) - Central Connecticut State University has announced it is closing immediately after it says a student came into contact with a person whois currently undergoing testing for COVID-19 coronavirus.
In an online message, CCSU president Zulma Toro says faculty, students, and staff have been asked to leave campus until further notice.
Toro says all impacted should take with them materials they'll need to continue teaching an learning online for the time being.
She says further updates will be released when warranted.
