(South Windsor, Conn.WTIC) - A man whose company was entrusted to do work for local group is now facing larceny charges.
According to South Windsor Police, 45-year-old Robert Malloy is charged.
Investigators say Malloy's company, Professional Landscape and Design LLC, was contracted to do work on an indoor artificial turf field for the South Windsor Soccer Club last spring.
Malloy's company never completed the work, police say, despite being paid $17,000.
SWSC gave Malloy several months to return the funds, which he did not.
Police obtained a warrant for his arrest last month and Malloy was picked up Wednesday.
Malloy's bond was set at $5,000, which he posted. He's due in court in Manchester January 22.
