
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system is out with its tuition plans for next academic year.Officials are proposing no increases in tuition and fees for the state's 12 community colleges next fall.Tuition and fees at Central, Southern, Eastern, and Western Connecticut State Universities would increase an average of 3.8-percent.Tuition and fees at Charter Oak State College would drop 2.7-percent, thanks to an improving financial picture for the online college.The Board of Regents' Finance Committee votes on the proposal Wednesday. The full board is expected to consider it February 6.
