(Winchester, Conn./WTIC) - One person is dead and another in the hospital following a crash Monday night in Winchester.
Police say they were dispatched to Route 263 near the Goshen town line for a serioius crash after 7:30 p.m.
One of the occupants was trapped beneath the vehicle, a 2006 Nissan Sentra.
Investigators say the car veered off the left side of the road, hit a stone and then rolled over.
The driver, 21-year-old Tyler Brazil of Norwalk, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, 25-year-old Alec Cleveland, was airlifted to Hartford Hospital. His injuries are said to be non life-threatening.
State Police are assisting in the investigation.
