MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- A subcontractor working for Eversource Energy was killed by a falling tree Sunday afternoon.
Middletown Police say the lineman for the energy provider was repairing a line on Millbrook Road around 3:17 p.m.
As he was finishing the repair work, a tree fell on top the lineman, according to officials.
The unidentified victim later died from his injuries.
Police say the area of 1233 Millbrook Road remains shut down until further notice.
