
KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A pre-dawn fire destroyed a Thai restaurant in the Danielson section of Killingly early Friday.
Firefighters were called to the Thai Basil restaurant on North Street around 2 a.m. to find heavy fire in the roof of the building.
It took about an hour to bring the blaze under control.
The restaurant was vacant at the time, and there are no injuries reported, according to fire officials.
The state and local fire marshals are investigating what sparked the blaze.
The building is believed to be a total loss.
