Four In Custody After Two Police Chases In Old Saybrook

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police worked with the maker of a stolen Dodge Challenger Hellcat, to remotely slow and stop the vehicle on Interstate 95 in Stratford Monday morning.Police say the car was stolen out of Old Saybrook and led officers on a chase that reached speeds in excess of 120 miles an hour. Three people in the car, all believed to be juveniles, were taken into custody, said police.The pursuit follows an earlier chase involving a stolen car in Old Saybrook, which ended near the Goodwin School on Boston Post Road, with one person taken into custody and another making a run for it.Police say they don't believe any suspects remain at large. The investigation is ongoing.
