Four Hartford Police Officers Test Positive for Coronavirus

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ The City of Hartford announces four city police officers are recovering at home after catching Coronavirus overseas.

Mayor Luke Bronin released a statement Thursday saying the officers tested positive for Coronavirus after returning from personal travels in Spain on March 10th. The officers were asked not to return to work for a 14-day quarantine period. A fifth officer who came in contact with one of the ill officers is now in quarantine and awaiting testing.

None appear to have signficant symptoms. All are self-isolated at home.

The Hartford Police Department has been deep cleaned.
