STAFFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Five people went to the hospital Sunday evening after an overloaded golf cart rolled over at the Sun Valley Beach Club in Stafford, according to firefighters.Authorities say at least six people were on the cart in the campground area of the resort. Five people went to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries, they said. A sixth person declined transport to the hospital.The rollover occurred as a large event at the resort was ending, and the flow of traffic leaving the area made it difficult for first responders to access the scene, said firefighters.
