Rocky Hill Man Saved from Burning Car

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Good samaritans rescue a man from a burning car in Rocky Hill on Thanksgiving Day.

Officials with the Rocky Hill Fire Department began to respond to a car fire with entrapment on I-91 Southbound near Exit 24, around 12:51 p.m. on Thanksgiving Thursday.

Before firefighters could make it to the scene, several bystanders and Connecticut State Police troopers were able to remove the victim and control the flames.

No identities were released.

Rocky Hill's firefighters thank everyone who stopped to help the driver to ensure they could celebrate Thanksgiving with family.
