(Hartford, Conn/WTIC)-Governor Ned Lamont says the state meets a key  metric for re-opening schools this fall.Lamont  says the most important metric to him regarding Covid is the seven-day average per 100-thousand population. Lamont says 10 per 100-thousand would be the break point to adjust the re-opening of schools."Right now 3.3 is the highest, so we are way below those metrics, which implies we can open those schools more safely," he said during his  briefing.Connecticut Education Commissioner  Miguel Cardona said personnel from the Education and Department of Public Health are working to pass along metrics and scenarios when to isolate and quarantine students.
