HAMDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Hamden Police are looking for several suspects who fled the scene of a fatal car verses scooter crash on Wednesday.
A stolen Toyota Corolla and a blue Honda were driving at a high rate of speed on State Street around 5:30 p.m. As the vehicles passed each other by crossing double yellow lines, the Corolla stuck a scooter operator. The occupants of the Corolla got inside the Honda and sped off. A surveillance photo caught the Honda as having Connecticut registration AS-54198.
The operator of the scooter died at Yale-New Haven Hospital. No identity has been released.
