HARTFORD, Conn (WTIC Radio)_ Hartford Police say the early Thursday morning apartment building fire on Wethersfield Avenue is now being investigated as an arson.
A specially trained K-9 was able to find the fire's point-of-origin where it was discovered the fire was accelerated.
Police located, interviewed, and arrested 38-year-old Eladia Vazquez as their main suspect.
She is currently being held on a $275,000.00 bond. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court on Lafayette Street at 10 a.m. Friday.
The fire sent 10 people to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Dozens of of people, in 42 apartments, have been displaced.
