HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Hartford Police are beginning to investigate the fatal shooting of a city resident in the Blue Hills Neighborhood.
Shot detection software picked up gunfire in the area of 44 Norfolk Street around 9:35 p.m. Police found Chan Williams-Bey Senior, 49, of Hartford, and transported him to Saint Francis Hospital.
Williams-Bey died just before 10 p.m.
The Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division have taken over the investigation.
