HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin has returned home after a hospital stay for a colitis flare-up.
Mayor Bronin released a video statement Sunday to announce he is happy to be home with his family. He tweeted about a colitis flare-up from last weekend that sent him to the hospital for testing and treatment.
During his stay, Mayor Bronin said he remained in contact with his staff.
Calling it "strange" to talk about his personal health, the Mayor has been battling colitis for over a decade through a combination of medication and avoiding certain foods.
