(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - After years of fits and starts, the city of Hartford has entered into an agreement to develop its Downtown North parcels near Dunkin' Donuts Park.

The city has struck a deal with Stamford-based RMS Companies.

The first phase is slated to begin later this spring, the so-called Parcel C area bordering Trumbull and Main Streets.

That phase is expected to consist of 200 residential units with 11-hundred square feet of retail space and a parking garage.

The pricetag is estimated to be 50-million-dollars.

Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin is expected to have more to say on the deal at a 1:30 p.m. City Hall news conference.
