(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - A woman is charged after Hartford police she either bit or cut off a portion of the finger of a man with whom she'd had a prior relationship.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. Sunday.
Officers say they were dispatched to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center where a man told them hewas trying to defend himself from a brick-wielding suspect.
That suspect, identified as 34-year-old Anna Lindo of Bloomfield, faces assault and disorderly conduct charges.
Investigators say Lindo's mother located the finger inside her vehicle and brought it to the hospital, but police say it couldn't be reattached.
They say Lindo refused to be interviewed.
Detectives say It turns out that Lindo posted videos on Facebook boasting about the incident and showing the finger.
She's being held on $250,000 bond.
