(Hartford, Conn.WTIC) - Governor Ned Lamont says he's issuing an executive order that will see the closure of nail and hair salons, as well as barbershops across Connecticut.
Lamont says he'll have more information later today.
It comes on the heels of Lamont and the governors of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania on Wednesday working in concert to close large shopping malls, bowling alleys, and amusement parks effective today to blunt the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
In addition, Lamont says Connecticut's presidential primary originally scheduled for April 28 has been pushed back to June 2.
The governor says more inforamation on the primary will be forthcoming, as well.
