(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - The General Assembly is finished for the 2020 regular session.
Legislative leaders issued a joint statement today effectively ending the COVID-19 shortened session before it's mandatory adjournment May 6.
The leaders say they will work to plan a special session over the coming months to deal with legislative issues.
Top priority, they say, remains the health and safety of the public and continued work to "stem this health crisis".
