It was a little after 8:30 when officers received the call to a home on Mountain Road.
That's where they found two people suffering from knife lacerations. They were rushed to area hospitals.
Police later arrested Emanuel DominguezVillaGomez and charged him with assault, risk of injury, reckless endangerment and unlawful restraint.
Bond was set at $750,000.
State Police are assisting Cheshire officers in the investigation.
