(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Hartford have made an arrest in a street robbery and homicide from earlier this year.
Under arrest is 45-year old Manuel Moran.
Police say on August 19, they found a man unresponsive outside a substance abuse clinic on Main Street.
They say the victim, 53-year-old Julio Ruiz, had been placed in a headlock and choked with a knife to his throat.
Officers say the alleged assailant, Moran, also stomped on Ruiz's inhaler before he fled with his personal property.
Moran is now facing charges of felony murder and robbery.
Bond was set at $1 million.
It's the third homicide arrest made in Hartford in the last week.
