(NEW HAVEN,Conn./WTIC Radio) - A 32 year old New Haven man is in critical condition at Yale New Haven Hospital following a Wednesday afternoon shooting at Division Street and Sheffield Avenue in the city's Newhallville neighborhood.Police believe the victim was driving a vehicle which crashed into a bus shelter shortly before 2 pm.He suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
No one was at the bus stop at the time and there were no other injuries.
Witnesses to the shooting are asked to call the New Haven Police Department Detective Bureau at 203-946-6304.
