NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- Police say a 35-year-old man was injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the city's Hill neighborhood.
Officials say the man was found lying in the street from a gunshot wound to the leg near the intersection of Hurlburt Street and Spring Street.
It happened around 1:19 p.m., police said.
The man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury and is listed in stable condition.
