
CROMWELL, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Cromwell police arrest a man accused of shooting and killing a dog.
Police say Bardsley Monfilston, 31, of Cromwell, allegedly shot a one-year-old German Sheppard Pointer around 11 a.m. Sunday while two children were present. The dog was seriously injured and then later died from the injuries.
Monfilston was arrested and charged with animal cruelty, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment, breach of peace, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and interfering with an officer. He posted a $10,000 bail and is due in court on December 1, 2020.
